Virachey National Park (Khmer: ឧទ្យានជាតិវីរជ័យ) is a national park located in northeastern Cambodia. It covers an area of 3,380.57 km (1,305.25 sq mi). The park is one of only two Cambodian ASEAN Heritage Parks.

The park is one of only two Cambodian ASEAN Heritage Parks. It spans parts of Ratanakiri and Stung Treng Provinces. The plants and animals in the park are threatened by illegal logging. The Cambodian Ministry of Environment is responsible for managing the park.

Description

Virachey National Park is located in some of the deepest and most isolated jungles of Cambodia. It is largely unexplored and has a wide variety of wildlife, waterfalls, and mountains. The park includes dense semi-evergreen lowlands, mountain forests, highland grasslands, thick bamboo areas, and some areas of mixed deciduous forest. Most of the park is located between 400 meters and 1,500 meters above sea level.
