The Macarao National Park (Spanish: Parque nacional Macarao) is a protected area with the status of a national park located in the Macarao, San Pedro, and Jarillo rivers in northern Venezuela. It covers an area of 15,000 hectares, which includes parts of the Capital District and Miranda State. The area was declared a National Park in 1973.
It serves as a protected zone for water resources that help provide drinking water for the city of Caracas.
The park is known for its mountainous terrain, which is part of the Cordillera de la Costa. The highest point in the area is called Alto de Ño León. The park includes facilities that support sports, scientific research, and educational trips.
