Altai Tavan Bogd National Park (Mongolian: Алтай Таван богд байгалийн цогцолбор газар, ᠠᠯᠲᠠᠢ ᠲᠠᠪᠤᠨ ᠪᠣᠭᠳᠠ ᠪᠠᠶᠢᠭᠠᠯ ᠤᠨ ᠴᠣᠭᠴᠠᠯᠠᠪᠤᠷᠢ ᠭᠠᠵᠠᠷ, Altai five saints nature complex) is a protected area in Bayan-Ölgii Province, western Mongolia. The park includes the Mongolian part of the Tavan Bogd mountain range, which is shared with Russia and China along the Altai Mountains. The park covers 6,362 square kilometers and is located south of Tavan Bogd, Mongolia’s highest mountain.

The park covers 6,362 square kilometers and is located south of Tavan Bogd, Mongolia’s highest mountain. It includes lakes named Khoton, Khurgan, and Dayan. The area is home to animals such as Argali sheep, Ibex, Red deer, Beech marten, Moose, Snow leopard, Snow cock, and Golden eagle.

Inside the park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site called the Petroglyphic Complexes of the Mongolian Altai. This site includes three locations with thousands of petroglyphs and Turkic monoliths. One part, the Tsagaan Salaa Rock Paintings, has more than 10,000 cave drawings spread across 15 kilometers of river valley.
