Crystal Mountains National Park (French: Parc National des Monts de Cristal) is one of 13 national parks in Gabon. It is located in the Monts de Cristal region on the western edge of the Woleu-Ntem Plateau, between Equatorial Guinea and the Ogooué River. The park has a twin, which includes Mbe National Park and Mt Sene National Park. These twin parks were created on September 4, 2002, because they have a very high variety of plant life and were part of an ancient rainforest area that once existed.
The park is home to many animals, including elephants and monkeys. Hundreds of butterfly species live here, and some are very rare, such as euphaedra brevis, cymothoe, and graphium angrier.
