Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park (富士箱根伊豆国立公園, Fuji-Hakone-Izu Kokuritsu Kōen) is a national park located in Yamanashi, Shizuoka, and Kanagawa Prefectures, as well as western Tokyo Metropolis, Japan. The park includes Mount Fuji, the Fuji Five Lakes, Hakone, the Izu Peninsula, and the Izu Islands. It covers an area of 1,227 square kilometers (474 square miles).

The park is not one specific place but a collection of scattered tourist spots spread across the region. The southernmost point in the park, the island of Hachijō-jima, is hundreds of kilometers away from Mount Fuji. The park includes many different natural features, such as hot springs, Pacific Ocean coastlines, mountainous areas, lakes, and more than 1,000 volcanic islands. Plants in the park range from trees found in mountainous areas to subtropical plants on the Izu Islands.

Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park was created on February 2, 1936, as Fuji-Hakone National Park. It was one of the first four national parks established in Japan. In 1950, the Izu Islands were added to the park, which led to the park’s new name. Because it is close to Tokyo and has easy access by transportation, it is the most visited national park in Japan.

Cities near the park include Odawara, Fuji, Minami Ashigara, and Numazu.
