Taean Seaside National Park, located in Taean County, South Chungcheong Province, South Korea, was named the country's 13th National Park in 1978. The park covers an area of about 326 square miles (840 square kilometers), with 289.315 square miles (749.32 square kilometers) being ocean area. The park includes many coastal environments and landmarks, such as 26 beaches, sand dunes, rocky areas, and 72 islands along a coastline that is 230 kilometers long.

The park is home to 1,195 animal species, 774 plant species, and 671 marine species, including minke whales and finless porpoises. Some endangered species found here are the Eurasian otter, Chinese egret, Eremias argus, Seoul frog, and Ranunculus kazusensis.
