Carrasco National Park is located in the Cochabamba Department of Bolivia. It covers an area of 6,226 square kilometers. More than 5,000 types of plants have been found in the park, making it one of Bolivia's most diverse areas in terms of plant and animal life. The park is a protected area, and no one is allowed to live inside it. It was created on October 11, 1991. The park has a mountainous landscape with rivers, waterfalls, gentle valleys, and deep canyons. It helps protect part of the Bolivian Yungas ecoregion, which is a special area with unique plants and animals. The area has thick plant life that provides homes for many animals, plants, and trees that are at risk of disappearing. The park is located to the east of the Cochabamba Department and covers parts of the Carrasco, Tiraque, and Chapare provinces.
