Augrabies Falls National Park is a protected area near Augrabies Falls, located about 120 kilometers (75 miles) west of Upington in the Northern Cape Province of South Africa. The park covers an area of 820 square kilometers (320 square miles) and follows the path of the Orange River. The region has very little rainfall and is dry.
Tanintharyi National Park is a proposed national park in Myanmar’s Tanintharyi Region. It was proposed in 2002 and was meant to cover an area of 2,072 square kilometers (800 square miles) of mangrove and evergreen forests. The park’s elevation ranges from sea level up to 1,490 meters (4,890 feet).
Natmataung National Park is a protected area in Myanmar that covers 723 square kilometers (279.3 square miles). It was created in 2010 and is recognized as one of the ASEAN Heritage Parks. The park’s height ranges from 740 to 3,070 meters (2,430 to 10,070 feet), and it surrounds Nat Ma Taung (Mount Victoria) in Mindat and Kanpetlet Township, Chin State.
The Lampi Island Marine National Park is a protected area in Myanmar. It covers 79.09 square miles (204.8 square kilometers) and was created in 1996. The park includes Lanbi Island and several smaller islands in the Mergui Archipelago.
Htamanthi Wildlife Sanctuary is a protected area in northern Myanmar. It covers 2,150.73 km² (830.40 sq mi) and was created in 1974 in the Sagaing Region. The sanctuary is found between the Chindwin River in Hkamti District and the Uyu River.
Hkakabo Razi is believed to be the highest mountain in Myanmar. It is also the tallest mountain in Southeast Asia, standing 19,295 feet (5,881 meters) tall. The mountain is located in the northern part of Myanmar, in Kachin State, within a smaller part of the Himalayan mountain range near the border where Myanmar, India (Arunachal Pradesh), and China (Tibet Autonomous Region) meet.
Alaungdaw Kathapa National Park is a protected area in Myanmar that covers an area of 541.6 miles (1,403 kilometers). It was created in 1989 and is included in the list of ASEAN Heritage Parks. The park covers elevations ranging from 443 to 4,380 feet (135 to 1,335 meters) and is located in Kani and Mingin Townships within the Sagaing Region.
Saiful Muluk National Park (Urdu: سیف الملوک نیشنل پارک) is located in the Kaghan Valley, within the Mansehra District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. The park was established in 2003 and is centered around the alpine Saiful Muluk Lake.
Qurumbar National Park is a national park in the Ghizer District of Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan. It was created in 2011 and covers an area of 73,800 ha (738 km). The park includes different types of land, such as Alpine steppe and alpine meadows.
Margalla Hills National Park (Urdu: مارگلہ پہاڑیاں قومی پارک) is a national park in Pakistan. It is located in Islamabad Capital Territory, near the northern edge of the area and close to Haripur District in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The park includes the Margalla Hills, which are the foothills of the Himalayas, as well as Shakarparian Park and Rawal Lake.
