Guanacaste National Park, known in Spanish as Parque Nacional Guanacaste, is a protected area located in northern Costa Rica. It is part of the Area de Conservación Guanacaste World Heritage Site and spans from the slopes of the Orosí and Cacao volcanoes westward to the Interamerican Highway, where it borders Santa Rosa National Park. The Santos Luzardo National Park (Spanish: Parque nacional Santos Luzardo), also known as the Cinaruco-Capanaparo National Park, is a protected area with the status of a national park. It is located between the Capanaparo and Cinaruco rivers and where these rivers meet the Orinoco River. The park is managed by the municipalities of Pedro Camejo and Achaguas in Apure State, Venezuela, near the border with Colombia.

Morrocoy National Park is located on the east coast of Falcón State and the north-west side of Golfo Triste, on the west central coast of Venezuela. It is near the towns of Boca de Aroa, Tucacas, Sanare, Chichiriviche, and Tocuyo de la Costa. The park was declared a national park on May 26, 1974.
Mochima National Park (/moh- CHEE -mə/) is located in the Anzoátegui and Sucre states on the northeastern coast of Venezuela. The park covers 94,935 hectares and includes three main areas: a western section with only ocean water (Anzoátegui State), a coastal area with the Gulf of Santa Fé and Mochima Bay, and a mountainous region that includes the Turimiquire Dam watershed (Sucre State). The park was created to protect the mountain forests of the Turimiquire Range and the marine environments of Venezuela’s eastern Caribbean Sea.
