Prielbrusye National Park (Russian: Приэльбрусье (национальный парк)) is located near Mount Elbrus, the highest mountain in Europe at 5,642 meters above sea level. The park is in the central Caucasus Mountains and is one of 22 national parks in the Caucasus, which includes areas with different nationalities. It covers 1.8% of the region.

It is located in the middle valley of the Kama River, along the Siva River, which flows into the Kama, and near the shore of the Votkinsk reservoir. Khojir National Park (Persian: پارک ملی خجیر) is Iran’s oldest protected area. It is located on the southern side of the Alborz Mountains, east of Tehran in Tehran Province. The area was first created as a wildlife reserve in 1979 and later changed to a national park in 1982.
