Krkonoše National Park (Czech: Krkonošský národní park, shortened to KRNAP) is a national park located in the Liberec and Hradec Králové regions of the Czech Republic. It includes most of the Giant Mountains (Czech: Krkonoše), which is the highest mountain range in the country. The park is also designated as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.

Hortobágy (pronounced “hor-toe-BAH-gy”) is a national park in eastern Hungary that covers 800 square kilometers. It is known for its rich folklore and cultural history. The park is part of the Alföld, or Great Plain, and became Hungary’s first national park in 1973.
The park was formed in 1997 by combining Pilis and Börzsöny national parks and adding part of the Ipoly River’s floodplain. The park covers areas in Budapest, Pest County, Komárom-Esztergom County, and Fejér County, including some small Danube islands. The park is centered around Mount Teide, the highest mountain in Spain (3,718 meters high). It is also the highest volcano in the Atlantic Ocean islands and the third highest volcano in the world when measured from its base on the ocean floor (7,500 meters high).
Tablas de Daimiel National Park (Parque Nacional de las Tablas de Daimiel) is a wetland located on the La Mancha plain, a mostly dry area in the province of Ciudad Real. The park covers about 3,000 hectares and is the smallest of Spain’s fifteen national parks. Its protected area includes parts of the towns of Daimiel and Villarrubia de los Ojos.
